In March, ITV announced the launch of a brand new OTT platform in late 2022 to address the changing TV market and protect ITV’s position as commercial market leader in the UK.
This announcement included a ‘digital first’ content publishing strategy and a significantly enhanced OTT platform offering AVOD, FAST channels and a SVOD tier, initially via the incorporation of BritBox.
Jo Wilkinson, from JWM, was invited to join the panel on the weekly OTT Question time to discuss the why, how and what this new OTT strategy for ITV means.
